Why it helps
One frame for every photo
Photos from different phones and decades rarely share a shape. Cropping them to one ratio gives a set that looks planned, on a page, in a print or on a screen. When you make a video, Vidotory already puts every photo into one frame for you, so cropping here is optional; it helps when you want to decide exactly what stays in the picture. Questions
Which ratios are available?
1:1, 4:5, 3:4, 4:3, 16:9 and 9:16, plus Free, where you set the shape yourself.
Does cropping reduce quality?
The pixels you keep are not scaled. PNG saves them without loss; JPG makes a smaller file.
Can I crop many photos the same way?
Yes. Keep "Use this ratio for all photos" on, then step through the photos and place the frame on each one.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Cropping happens in your browser, and your photos stay on your device.
