For every kind of graduation

The graduation party

Play it while guests arrive or before the speeches.

A gift from parents

Send it the morning of the ceremony.

A group gift

Friends and relatives each add a photo from a different year. One person puts them in order and makes the video.

Social media

A short post for the day itself.

Pro tip: keep the face clear in the last photo

Caps, gowns and masks can hide the face. For the final photo, pick a graduation picture where the face is clear and uncovered. With 12 photos you can cover nearly every school year, about 55 seconds.

Questions

How many photos do I need?

Between 2 and 24. Five photos give a short video of about 20 seconds, and 12 photos give about 55 seconds.

Can I use photos from different cameras and phones?

Yes. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC files all work, including iPhone photos. Photos of printed pictures also work if the face is readable.

Can friends and family add photos?

Yes, by sending you their photos. One person collects them, puts them in order and makes the video.

Will it play at the party?

You get an MP4 that plays on laptops, phones and any screen or projector that plays video files. Test it on the real equipment first.

What if a transition looks wrong?

Redo just that one. Starter includes 2 redos and larger plans 3 to 5.
